Apple Nachos- Happy Fall Recipe Time!
Apples make the best snacks! I was just with my dad in Michigan and honestly had the best apples I have had in a long time!! Michigan Premium Honeycrisp. I am not sure why they were so much tastier than what we get in Colorado, but they were:)
I know my boys love apples and when they were younger we would cut up and make fruit salads, apples and cheese slices, dip apples in caramel, made apple core witches, etc..
I did read about Apple Nachos and while I had never made them with my kids, I thought I would share this recipe, since they look SO good!
Instructions- and here is the link to see pics and more- https://thebakermama.com/recipes/apple-nachos-3-ways/
On a platter or sheet pan, arrange the apple slices in a long pile.
Drizzle the melted peanut butter on a third of the pile, the melted chocolate sauce on another third of the pile and the melted caramel on the last third of the pile.
Sprinkle the peanut butter drizzled apple slices with the chopped peanuts and mini chocolate chips. Drizzle the melted white chocolate chips over the chocolate sauce covered apple slices and then sprinkle with the mini M&M’s candies. Sprinkle the caramel drizzled apples with the chopped pecans and toffee bits.
Serve and enjoy!
