Road Trip---Some Amazing Inspiration
I was down in Moab Utah for a few days of hiking. I had a great time checking out Arches, Canyons, and meeting really interesting people! OK, I do tend to talk to people, but this time, I swear, people were talking to me-- asking me about my cool fanny pack-- yep- my olovesm one!!! I was lucky enough to be at Arches very early in the AM one day, I had the whole place to myself-- or at least it felt that way!! Thank you Arches for lots of inspiration!!!

Vegas-WWIN Show
I just got home from being in Vegas from a four day tradeshow called WWIN. Good show, with nice people:) I was hoping to enjoy the beautiful weather, but since my show was from 8:30-6 daily, I had to venture out at 7am to see some of the fun sites:

I am SO excited that my unique way of "making things work" paid off-- the BOB award is the Best Of Booth award given out at the Outdoor Retailer show- my biggie trade show!! Check out what they wrote about us and I have to give TONS O KUDDOS to Jeff Cardon, he's the MAN!!

Mini Bob – O Loves M
Everyone loves a good story and Merle O’Brien, owner/designer of O Loves M has a whopper. She needed to create a 10-x-10-square-foot booth for Winter Market to merchandise her line of purses and totes made from yoga mats and fabrics. She placed a call for help on Craigslist and received close to 30 replies. Ultimately, she chose a young man from Salt Lake City who submitted ideas to Merle, but nothing was final until she arrived in Salt Lake the day before the show opened. With one day to create and set up the booth, creativity reigned. Pallets were repurposed from the dumpsters outside the Salt Palace, as was the carpet padding used on the booth floor. Waterfall arms were notched and attached to the walls to hold the company’s purses. A counter was once an old door and the reception counter and stool were built from scratch.
The result was a rough-hewn booth with lots of character that worked beautifully to show the colorful O Loves M product assortment. This booth was another example of what creative thinking and a small budget can accomplish.
Back Home
For the past 5 days I was in Salt Lake at my big OR show- it was amazing, not only did my booth look totally cool- I used Craigslist to find a local person who could help me create it- Jeff, who was my booth design guy was amazing!! He had taken pallets and created my booth walls, I went into to dumpster and pulled out some great carpet padding for the flooring, and the rest-- well check it out- this pic shows us before we got the bags, & signs up---

HAPPY 2010!!!!
Hard to believe 2010 is SO close-- like tomorrow!! Hope everyone has had a wonderful, healthy & happy 2009 and that 2010 brings more and more love, happiness, growth, and of course overall zest for life to you all:) I know exciting things are happening for OlovesM, and I will be sharing them throughout the year.

Holiday Time
I know everyone is busy with the holidays here-- but I wanted to let all of you know how excited I am to have OlovesM'ers like you all supporting what started out as an idea on my yoga mat!! This past week, many of you have emailed, letting me know how happy you have been with your bags, how much you love the different styles, fabrics and price points!! I will keep having fun working on new styles to make us all SMILE, SMILE, SMILE!!!!

It is a beautiful day here in the mountains-- a little skiing, hiking, and then TURKEY & PUMPKIN PIE!!!! I know we are all thankful for so many things, and I am the same-- I wish all OlovesM'ers a wonderful day!!

Fanny Packs
I used one of these Fanny Packs all summer long at my Saturday Market booth, it was perfect for holding money, cell phone, pens, etc.. it did such a great job, I have made more! Check them out below, and if you have not joined my Facebook page already, please do and let me know your thoughts on the Fanny Pack idea!! (dont worry, I know these are not for everyone:)

Hey OloveM'ers, sorry I have not posted like I normally do-- I have been busy designing, shipping, and all those other great things that come with being M in OlovesM:) I am excited to say, I am just going over and finalizing new designs and they are SO fun, cool, unique- which you all know is what I love about the bags, and of course functional.
I will post pics soon, so you can see what will be out in the stores for 2010!
